In 1924 a lady called Jennie Curtis launched an outreach to youth in Hull. 100 years later that same community, now called Revive Church, have bought an adventure park to develop into a premier activity, adventure and events centre to transform thousands of young lives and families.
Revive is a Christian community meeting in homes, community centres and venues all around Hull, East Yorkshire and the world! We love God’s presence, serve Jesus with passion and we are seeking to inspire a Christian revival, equip generations and transform communities wherever we are, from the neighbourhoods of East Yorkshire, to the nations of the world!
The current Senior Minister, Jarrod Cooper has led Revive Church (previously New Life Christian Centre) since 2005. Previous to this, his father & mother, David & Marion Cooper led the church from 1988 after being missionaries in Gibraltar.
Revive moved from their premises in Hull City Centre in 2014 after out growing it. They became a multisite church with gatherings across the region.
In June 2023 an amazing miracle began to unfold – and now Revive Church are the excited owners of an amazing Adventure Park, “Let Loose!” in East Yorkshire, which we will run as an outstanding outdoor activity centre and social enterprise, a space for fun, food, training courses, youth groups, team building, faith building, leadership development and supporting families.
